The Medcast PALS course is suitable for all clinicians including doctors, nurses and paramedics. We focus on upskilling you to manage emergencies in your clinical environment, emphasising technical and non-technical skills to ensure you are confident during any clinical emergency regardless of whether you are the team leader, working the defibrillator, administering drugs, or supporting family. 

Fast-Track - 1/2 day delivery

Recertification course that blends eLearning with 4 hours of hands-on face to face delivery to refresh and maintain your PALS knowledge and skills. This half day program provides a rapid pace to update resuscitation skills in a supportive environment. It's ideal if you frequently attend resuscitation events and have current paediatric advanced life support certification. This course is not suitable for novice clinicians or those who have not completed PALS training in the last 18 months.  Get 50% off ALS recertification with your PALS recertification, if you register for both courses.

Certification

Paediatric advanced life support certification is achieved following successful completion of scenario-based multiple choice theory exam, demonstration of basic life support, and participation in team based simulations where you will be required to undertake the following roles:

• Team leader

• Defibrillation

• Administration of PALS medications

• Scribe/documentation

Clinical assessment scenarios are adapted for your clinical experience and include the integration of non-technical and technical skills including the use of cognitive aids.
