The perioperative nursing update course is a comprehensive 8 week course providing 15 hours of CPD inclusive of interactive eLearning modules supported by live and on demand case based webinars. Divided into five core modules, this program is tailored for both new and experienced perioperative nurses. Understand the interprofessional roles and responsibilities along the surgical continuum.

Employ evidence-based anaesthetic and analgesic techniques while managing PONV.
Recognise and respond effectively to perioperative emergencies using crisis resource management.
Implement robust PACU protocols to support recovery and safe discharge.
