Dr Cecilia Xiao

Dr Cecilia Xiao is a general practitioner based in Geelong and Ocean Grove, with a diverse background in clinical medicine, medical education, and advocacy. Originally from Singapore, she studied medicine at the University of Tasmania and completed an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University majoring in marketing. Post graduation, she undertook a sabbatical at the University of Oxford, where she earned a Master of Science in Clinical Embryology.

Cecilia completed her GP training in Southwest Victoria and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Her clinical interests include skin cancer medicine and women’s health. 

Alongside her clinical work, she is a practice supervisor, teaches at Deakin Medical School and has supported at-risk youth through the Doctors in Secondary Schools initiative. A passionate advocate for general practice, she is a sought-after speaker known for her engaging and inspiring presentations.
