Advanced Life Support (ALS) Recertification 2025

Advanced Life Support (ALS) recertification course - (ALS 2 equivalent)

This recertification course provides blended learning and practical assessment in advanced life support. All course content complies with current ANZCOR and ILCOR resuscitation guidelines and is comparable to other industry resuscitation courses including ALS 2.  The clinical application of ALS skills is the focus of training through interactive simulations that include the use of cognitive aids and non-technical skills to support your learning.

It is suitable for current holders of an ALS certification. 

Skills covered in the recertification course

During this ALS course, you will have the opportunity to reinforce the required skills to participate in a resuscitation with rotation through all resuscitation team roles during practical simulations adapted to your clinical area of practice.  You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with team members and will be assessed on all advanced life support skills including:

• CPR
• Rhythm interpretation
• Manual defibrillation
• ALS pharmacology
• Patient assessment 
• Leadership
