Australian Males and Loneliness

Join us as we discuss how primary care professionals can identify loneliness and support males. This webinar will provide an overview of the key factors in recognising and addressing loneliness in the primary care setting:

  • What is loneliness and how does it differ from social isolation.
  • What is the impact of loneliness on health and wellbeing.
  • How to identify if a patient is experiencing loneliness.
  • What is the benefit of early intervention.

The presenters will demonstrate how these approaches can be applied in primary care settings and referral pathways for additional support when needed.  The webinar will conclude with audience Q&A.

Following this webinar participants will be able to:

  1. Identify loneliness in male patients.
  2. Understand the links between loneliness and other health conditions.
  3. Support patients in addressing loneliness to promote health and wellbeing.
  4. Refer male patients for additional support if needed.
