Optimising care & billing for transitioning veterans in general practice: mini audit

This mini-audit is designed for GPs to systematically review the care delivered to veteran patients during the first 12 months after their discharge from the Australian Defence Force (ADF). Participating GPs will audit two veteran patients and critically examine whether particular aspects of veteran-centred care have been addressed.

The audit will place particular emphasis on whether care in that first year aligns with the domains assessed in the Veterans’ Health Check and Veterans LENS.

Completion of this activity contributes to 3hr of CPD (2.5hr MO + 0.5hr EA).

This is a Medcast Continuing Medical Education (CME) course.

Funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs through the Veterans Healthcare eLearning Platform Program.
