Stoyan Stoyanov has a background of research in psychology. He works at both Queensland University of Technology and University of Queensland with leading eMental Health experts. Stoyan has a keen interest in the areas of wellbeing, prevention, early intervention, mental health support and suicide prevention for young people, utilising technology. Stoyan led the development of the Mobile App Rating Scale (MARS) adnt he MARS-User version, which is heuristic for the quality evaluation of health apps. He is currently involved in a project using eHealth to promote the autonomy and self-efficacy of clients of Australia's largest youth service provider - Kids Helpline.
