Dell Lovett

Registered nurse

Dell is a registered nurse with a background in teaching and working in the primary healthcare setting. Dell has a (20 year) long experience working as a practice nurse and diabetes educator in general practice and as a nurse immuniser in the community healthcare setting. She has Master’s Degrees in Research and Nursing Practice. Dell was the author of the Australian College of Nursing Graduate Certificate course in Practice Nursing. Dell’s research interest is in men’s health and wellbeing, and she is passionate about increasing the focus of men’s health for healthcare workers in Australia. She is an inaugural member and immediate past chair of the Healthy Male Nursing and Allied Health Advisory Group.  Dell has also recently written a module for the Australian Primary Health Care Association on frailty and functional decline.
