Vasileios is an academic and professional psychologist activated in the area of disordered gaming. He has worked as the leading clinician in the outpatient program for problematic internet use of the Psychiatric Hospital of Attica in Greece between 2009 and 2012. His scholar work in the field of disordered gaming focuses on the exploration of risk and protective factors, measurement issues and factors that make gaming applications engaging. As an acknowledgment of his research work, he received the Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award, 2021.
