Dr Shobini Sivagnanam studied medicine at the University of New South Wales and subsequently completed Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) through the University of Sydney. Dr Sivagnanam completed dual fellowships in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology in 2015. She undertook a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, WA, USA in the area of infections in the immunocompromised host. Dr Sivagnanam is an Infectious Diseases specialist at Blacktown hospital, where she is currently the Director of Infectious Diseases. She joined Australian Clinical Labs as a clinical microbiologist in 2018.
