Dr Michael Millard is Consultant Psychiatrist based in Sydney and Armidale, NSW. He specialises in adult mood and anxiety conditions, including sub-speciality skills in cognitive behaviour therapy, tailored psychological approaches, medical education and the application of health technology.
After initial work in General Practice, Mike trained in Psychiatry at St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst. He has a keen interest in regional and remote mental health, with experience in Queensland, Western Australia and currently the Tablelands HNE region. He is the current Director of the Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety and Depression, with a particular interest is in the development and use of internet-based cognitive-behaviour therapy interventions and their use in augmenting face-to-face treatment.
Mike is a Conjoint Lecturer with the UNSW School of Psychiatry.
