Mental Health Community of Practice

Black Dog Institute's Mental Health Community of Practice is a private online community for Health Professionals with an interest in Mental Health. The community combines education and knowledge sharing activities.

To join the Mental Health Community of Practice, you need to be a Health Professional in Australia. The community is a closed group and you will be required to provide evidence of your profession (e.g. AHPRA number) to be granted access. The following Health Professionals are encouraged to join the community:

  • GPs and GP Registrars
  • Psychiatrists
  • GP nurses
  • Psychologists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Social Workers
  • Other Allied Health professionals
  • Peer support workers
  • Community support workers.

The community is hosted by Medcast on behalf of Black Dog Institute. To join the community, click below and sign in (if you are already a member) or sign up (if you need to join). You will then be directed to the community page where you will be required to request access to the Mental Health Community of Practice. Please allow 48 hours for your request to be accepted. You will be notified by email when you have been added to the community.
