Dr Hilarie Cash is Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer of the reSTART Center for Digital Technology Sustainability. It’s the first long-stay retreat program in the US or Canada for adults who are experiencing serious problems with their digital screen use. She gained her PhD in psychology from Saybrook University and her MA In psychology from University of Northern Colorado. She began her work in this field in the mid-90’s and co-founded an outpatient clinic called Internet/Computer Addiction Services. She has written numerous books on the topic and is recognised as one of the US’ leading experts in the growing field of internet gaming addiction, amongst other online addictions.
