Laura Tarzia

Laura is an Associate Professor in the Department of General Practice, The University of Melbourne. Her work focuses on sexual violence and intimate partner violence against women. She leads ground-breaking ARC-funded projects exploring women’s lived experience of intimate partner sexual violence and the sexual and intimate partner violence experiences of female international students. She is also undertaking innovative work focused on understanding reproductive coercion and abuse and improving healthcare responses.
