How long are my BLS, ALS and PALS certificates valid for?

We offer an optional competency based assessment which is valid for 12 months. It's not possible to say that someone is competent for years on end, if they're not using the skills regularly.

Our BLS and ALS certificates of attendance are in accordance with the RACGP and are valid for 3 years.

We recommend annual recertification for BLS, ALS and PALS to maintain your level of knowledge and competence.
